About Alegria

Alegria means joy, in Spanish and in Portuguese. That is the whole idea.

We started Alegria because online coffee had developed a habit we could not unsee. Print a price nobody is expected to pay, cut it in half, run the sale forever, and let the customer slowly work out that the "regular price" was never real. It works. It also quietly trains people not to believe you.

So we do the opposite. We work out what the coffee costs, add a fair margin, put that number on the shelf, and leave it there. No inflated RRPs, no countdown timers, no fifty per cent off weekend. If you want to know exactly what we charge and why, it is all on one page.

The coffee is single origin and small batch, roasted in Australia and shipped the day it is roasted. Good coffee, good people, good times, and a price that makes sense.
